Eunice M. Howard, 90 of Temperance, MI, died Sunday, April 17, 2016, in Vibrant Life Senior Living. Born January 23, 1926, in New Riegel, OH, she was the daughter of Emanuel and Anna (Urban) Brickner. She married William O. Howard on November 9, 1947. He preceded her in death on Dec. 5, 1993. Eunice was employed as an area leader and inspector at Tillotson Carburetor for over 30 years, retiring in 1976. Prior, she worked for the former Willys Overland. She was a member of the U.A.W., Local 12, Rebekah Lodge, 299 and Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Temperance, MI.
She is survived by her brother, Harland (Mary Jo) Brickner; sister, Marlene SanGregory; many nieces, and nephews. Eunice was also preceded in death by brothers, Rev. Peter , Emanuel, Jr., Robert and James Brickner; sisters, Elizabeth Brickner, Alberta Czyznik and Annabelle Seiling.
There will be no visitation. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, April 21, 2016, at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, 8330 Lewis Avenue, Temperance, MI, where she will lie in state after 10:00 am. Interment will be private. Memorials may be made to Promedica Hospice, Our Lady of Mt.
